Since our last e-newsletter, we have seen our country blanketed in snow. Beautiful, cold winter days framed by the picture-perfect English countryside covered in white.

Valentines Day falls on a Saturday this year. As we have limited space, we will be having our romantic 7 course menu available on the Friday and Saturday. If you would like us to arrange some flowers or that special bottle of Champagne for your reservation, please do let us know when making your booking. Local accommodation and our chauffeur service will be available on a limited basis, so please book early. (Valentines Day link)

Mothering Sunday falls on the 22nd March this year. Please book your table early as this tends to be a busy day with our limited seating. Please see the menu in the link (Mothering Sunday link)

Change of time – change of season
Please note that we will no longer be open for restaurant trade on Sunday evenings and Monday for both lunch and dinner.
We will be introducing our long-awaited cookery lessons, hosted by the head chef, Grant Hawthorne: The courses will be run on the Mondays and an exciting schedule will be sent to you, as a subscriber. A separate email with further details will be sent to you.

The revised opening times will run until the end of spring and then revert to the previous opening hours for the Summer.
