The Plough is 2 - Make mine a couple!

The award-winning Plough restaurant in Wavendon, Milton Keynes is celebrating its second birthday today – the 16th of July – by launching their wedding venue package: Betrothed couples do not pay for the hire of the venue!

Jon Todd, the owner, commented: ‘Our restaurant is 2 years old. We have two of the UK Best Dishes, 2 local restaurant awards and 2 AA rosettes’
He continued: ‘At The Plough, we have a restaurant that offers world-class dining, elegant surroundings and the only restaurant in Milton Keynes to have complimentary luxury transport. It is about attention to detail – factors that we believe will make a difference over the coming years’.

He comments further: ‘The Plough’s complimentary luxury transport; 350 bin wine list and some of the UK’s Best Dishes are to be found a mere 7 miles from Central Milton Keynes; and a mere 45 minutes from London’

Head Chef, Grant Hawthorne, has recently introduced his 2009 summer menus with a variety of seasonal produce to add to the all British cheeseboard which has garnered national attention.
A visibly excited Grant says: ‘England in summer is magnificent! We have included samphire, trout and strawberries on our menus’
He continued: ‘Summer is traditionally when couples get married too’
He comments further: ‘As part of our 2nd birthday celebrations, we are launching our wedding venue package which starts at £2500 for exclusive use. 2 people, wishing to celebrate their marriage, can do so here at the restaurant – without the added cost of a venue hire fee. Perhaps we will have a draw later on for that lucky couple to win their entire reception for free!’

The Plough Wavendon is open Tuesday to Saturday from noon, and its menu includes an affordable business set lunch along with pre-theatre dinner served between 5.30pm and 7.00pm. Sunday brunch is from 10am and lunch is served till 4pm.
