With our Private Dining room and viewable Wine Cellar still in the planning stages, we are happy to offer the following facilities for our guests who are wishing to host their function at The Plough Wavendon.
Corporate entertaining, product launches, private family celebrations and office parties can be catered for.

Marquee - 90 seated or 140 standing
Courtyard - 65 seated or 110 standing

Musicians; decor; flowers; recommended accommodation; luxury transport and bespoke tailoring of menus and wines to suit your occasion can be arranged.

Our reservation policy is as follows:
Number of persons must be confirmed by no later than 7 days prior to the function.
Full menu choices must be confirmed by no later than 7 days prior to the function. They can be hand delivered/ emailed to the restaurant.
A non-refundable deposit of 30 pounds per person will be accepted as proof of your booking confirmation.
Parties of 30 persons or more will be required to take exclusive use of the restaurant. Please note the minimum spend for these days. (see wedding brochure link)
Should there be any no-shows on the date of the reservation, a further fee of 20 pounds per absent guest will be forfeited to the restaurant (ie £50 / guest cancellation or no-show fee).
A credit card/ debit card/ bank guaranteed cheque may be required to confirm the reservation. No monies will be deducted from your card, however an authorisation request to your bank may be performed to ensure the funds are available.
For large parties, a deposit may be required.
Should there be any dietary requirements or allergies among the guests, please ensure that this is communicated in writing so that the Chef can accommodate the guest(s).
Should the function have a minimum spend on your chosen area and the final bill is lower than the minimum spend, the restaurant reserves the right to adjust the bill to meet the minimum spend requirements.
The minimum spend includes a mixture of food and beverages only. It does not include the following, however we are happy to arrange for the additional:
Wedding/ birthday Cake • Decor • Table cloths and napkins which are different to the ones we normally use in the restaurant • Flowers • Musicians • Party favours • Service charge of 10% • Late license extension • Marquee (if applicable) • Additional transport for your guests (the courtesy car seats 8 persons and is available on a complimentary basis)
All bills will be presented for final payment upon the termination of the function. They can be settled using either a Credit Card/ Bank Guaranteed Cheque/ Cash.
Guests wishing to pay with American Express will have a further 7.5% added to the final amount.
Full payment will be required on the day of the function. Any deposits given will be deducted off the final amount.
