Private Hire

Would you like to hold your wedding reception, birthday party or other celebration at The Plough Wavendon? We have a private outside area (with or without marquee) which could be ideal for you. Please CONTACT US for more information.

With our Private Dining room and viewable Wine Cellar still in the planning stages, we are happy to offer the following facilities for our guests who are wishing to host their function at The Plough Wavendon.

Corporate entertaining, product launches, private family celebrations and office parties can be catered for.

Guest Numbers:
Inside restaurant- 40 seated or 60 standing
Marquee - 80 seated or 140 standing
Courtyard - 65 seated or 110 standing

Musicians; decor; flowers; recommended accommodation; luxury transport and bespoke tailoring of menus and wines to suit your occasion can be arranged.

Notes:

1. Number of persons must be confirmed by no later than 7 days prior to the function.
2. Full menu choices must be confirmed by no later than 7 days prior to the function. They can be hand delivered/ emailed to the restaurant.
3. A non-refundable deposit of 20 pounds per person will be accepted as proof of your booking confirmation. Should there be any no-shows on the date of the function, the deposit of 20 pounds per absent guest will be forfeited to the restaurant.
4. Should the function have a minimum spend on your section and the final bill is lower than the minimum spend, the restaurant reserves the right to adjust the bill to meet the minimum spend requirements.
5. Should there be any dietary requirements or allergies among the guests, please ensure that this is communicated in writing so that the Chef can accommodate the guest(s).
6. Any décor/ flowers/ cake/ additional musicians/ disco/ late license extension (subject to negotiation)/ marquee can be arranged and is NOT included in the price.
7. All bills will be presented for final payment upon the termination of the function. They can be settled using either a Credit Card/ Bank Guaranteed Cheque/ Cash.
8. Full payment will be required on the day of the function. Any deposits given will be deducted off the final amount.
