The Plough Wavendon is a quality, affordable and service-led restaurant in rural Buckinghamshire.

Elegant dining in sophisticated yet comfortable surroundings – our guests enjoy friendly, professional and unobtrusive service. You can choose to dine in the restaurant or al fresco in our award-winning Courtyard: our landscaped and heated patio area.

The Plough’s award-winning chef hails from the beautiful food and wine destination of Cape Town, South Africa, and his cuisine is “traditional meets contemporary” with European flair and Mediterranean influences deliciously combining with the vibrancy of the Southern Hemisphere.

The menu celebrates the seasons and every effort is made to source as much local produce as possible. Within the next year we shall be using land near Moulton in Northamptonshire to organically grow and rear produce exclusively for the restaurant.

Our Sommelier’s Selection features the very best that the Old and New World have to offer, and approximately 30 wines are available by the glass or carafe. Smaller estates, bio-dynamic and organic wines all feature.

The Plough’s bar stocks premium whiskies, cognacs and real ales, and non-dining guests may enjoy a quiet drink in The Bar or on The Terrace.

The restaurant has disabled access and facilities and has been awared a "5 Star - Excellent" food hygiene rating.

We welcome children, but respectfully request that they are under adult supervision whilst dining at the restaurant.

We ask that our guests observe a smart casual dress code.
